Woman in Critical Condition after Colliding with Dump Truck

On Friday July 20, 2012, a woman collided with a dump truck on I-495 in Oxon Hill. She is now hospitalized and in critical condition.

The woman collided with the dump truck early Friday morning around 9:15am and was seriously injured. The driver of the dump truck was the only other person involved and there is no word on whether or not he suffered injury.

Investigators are unsure of how the accident was caused and are still looking into it. However, it is certain that the woman collided into the dump truck with her Mazda.

Colliding into a vehicle bigger and stronger than the one you are driving, often leads to injury and serious s property damage. Should the dump truck have suffered any damage; the driver may be able to seek compensation if the woman is faulted for this particular accident.
